Hi, I’m Chris.

I live in Berkshire, England and observe mostly from my back garden.

I’ve had a small Newtonian reflector telescope (114mm) for about 6 years but I hardly ever used it. I took the International Year of Astronomy 2009 as an occasion to buy a bigger, better telescope and really get started with this hobby. On 29 September 2009 I received my new Celestron C8-NGT. In the last 3 months I’ve used the new telescope far more often that the old one in 6 years…
